Mark 14:35 "And going a little farther, he fell on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him."



Heb. 5:7   In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications,  with loud cries and tears, to him  who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.

To Whom did Jesus pray?
“…to him who was able to save him from death…” (Heb 5:7)


John 12:23 And Jesus answered them,  “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.”

 According to John 12:23, what hour had come?
The hour for the Son of Man to be glorified


John 12:27    “Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father,  save me from  this hour’? But  for this purpose I have come to  this hour.

According to John 12:27, why had Jesus come to this hour?
For this purpose

John 13:1   Now before  the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that  his hour had come  to depart out of this world to the Father,  having loved  his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
