Appearances in the Old Testament:

Gen. 45:13 You must tell my father of all my honor in Egypt, and of all that you have seen. Hurry and bring my father down here.”

Gen. 49:6     Let my soul come not into their council;
         O my glory, be not joined to their company.
     For in their anger they killed men,
        and in their willfulness they hamstrung oxen.

Ex. 14:18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD,  when I have gotten glory over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”

Ex. 29:43 There I will meet with the people of Israel, and it shall be sanctified by my glory.

Ex. 33:18 Moses said, “Please show me your glory.”

Ex. 33:22 and while my glory passes by I will put you in a  cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by.

1Sam. 15:30 Then he said, “I have sinned; yet  honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel,  and return with me, that I may bow before the LORD your God.”

Is. 3:8     For Jerusalem has stumbled,
        and Judah has fallen,
     because their speech and their deeds are against the LORD,
         defying his glorious presence.

        or seeking  your own pleasure,  or talking idly;

Is. 59:19      So they shall fear the name of the LORD from the west,
        and his glory from the rising of the sun;
      for he will come like a rushing stream,
        which the wind of the LORD drives.

Is. 60:2     For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
        and thick darkness the peoples;
     but the LORD will arise upon you,
        and his glory will be seen upon you.

Is. 61:6      but you shall be called the priests of the LORD;

Is. 66:18   “For I know  their works and their thoughts, and the time is coming   to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and shall see my glory,  19 and I will set a sign among them. And from them  I will send survivors to the nations, to  Tarshish,  Pul, and  Lud, who draw the bow, to  Tubal and  Javan,  to the coastlands far away,  that have not heard my fame or seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory among the nations.

Jer. 2:11      Has a nation changed its gods,
         even though they are no gods?
     But my people  have changed their glory
        for  that which does not profit.

Jer. 14:21     Do not spurn us,  for your name’s sake;
        do not dishonor your glorious throne;
         remember and do not break your covenant with us.

Jer. 30:19      Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving,
        and the voices of those who celebrate.
      I will multiply them, and they shall not be few;
        I will make them honored, and they shall not be small.

Ezek. 39:13 All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day that  I show my glory, declares the Lord GOD.

Ezek. 39:21   “And  I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see  my judgment that I have executed, and  my hand that I have laid on them.

Ezek. 43:2 And behold,  the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And  the sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters, and  the earth shone with his glory.

Hos. 4:7        The more they increased,
        the more they sinned against me;
         I will change their glory into shame.

Hos. 9:11     Ephraim’s  glory shall fly away like a bird—
         no birth, no pregnancy, no conception!

Hab. 2:16     You will have your fill  of shame instead of glory.
         Drink, yourself, and show your uncircumcision!
      The cup in the LORD’s right hand
        will come around to you,
        and  utter shame will come upon your glory!

Hag. 2:3  ‘Who is left among you who saw this house  in its former glory? How do you see it now?  Is it not as nothing in your eyes?

Mal. 1:6    “A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I am  a father, where is my honor? And if I am  a master, where is my fear? says the LORD of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name.  But you say, ‘How have we despised your name?’

Psa. 3:3       But you, O LORD, are a shield about me,
        my glory, and the lifter of my head.

Psa. 4:2       O men,  how long shall my honor be turned into shame?
        How long will you love vain words and seek after  lies? Selah

         splendor and majesty you bestow on him.

Psa. 26:8       O LORD, I  love the habitation of your house
        and the place where your glory dwells.

Psa. 49:17      For when he dies he will  carry nothing away;
        his glory will not go down after him.

Psa. 50:15     and  call upon me in the day of trouble;
        I will  deliver you, and you shall  glorify me.”

Psa. 50:23     The one who  offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me;
        to one who  orders his way rightly
        I will show the  salvation of God!”

Psa. 57:5        Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
        Let your glory be over all the earth!

Psa. 57:8      Awake,  my glory!
     Awake,  O harp and lyre!
        I will awake the dawn!

Psa. 62:7     On God rests my  salvation and my glory;
        my mighty rock,  my refuge is God.

Psa. 63:2     So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
        beholding  your power and glory.

Psa. 72:19     Blessed be his  glorious name forever;
        may  the whole earth be filled with his glory!
     Amen and Amen!

Psa. 91:15     When he  calls to me, I will answer him;
        I will be with him in trouble;
        I will rescue him and  honor him.

Psa. 96:3     Declare his glory among the nations,
        his marvelous works among all the peoples!

Psa. 97:6        The heavens proclaim his righteousness,
        and all  the peoples see his glory.

Psa. 102:15     Nations will  fear the name of the LORD,
        and all  the kings of the earth will fear your glory.
16     For the LORD  builds up Zion;
        he  appears in his glory;

        nor is it glorious to  seek one’s own glory.

Lam. 1:8        Jerusalem sinned grievously;

     all who honored her despise her,
         for they have seen her nakedness;
     she herself  groans
        and turns her face away.

Lam. 2:11        My eyes are spent with weeping;
         my stomach churns;
      my bile is poured out to the ground
         because of the destruction of the daughter of my people,
      because infants and babies  faint
        in the streets of the city.

Neh. 9:5 Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, “Stand up and bless the LORD your God from everlasting to everlasting.  Blessed be your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.

1Chr. 16:24     Declare his glory among the nations,
        his marvelous works among all the peoples!
