The LORD also declares to you that  the LORD will make a house for you.  12 “ When your days are complete and you  lie down with your fathers,  I will raise up your  descendant after you, who will come forth from  you, and I will establish his kingdom.  13 “ He shall build a house for My name, and  I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.  14 “ I will be a father to him and he will be a son to Me;  when he commits iniquity, I will correct him with the rod of men and the strokes of the sons of men,  15 but My lovingkindness shall not depart from him,  as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you.  16 “ Your house and your kingdom shall endure before  Me forever; your throne shall be established forever.”’”

And  this is the  custom of man, O Lord GOD.  20 “Again what more can David say to You? For  You know Your servant, O Lord GOD!  21 For the sake of Your word, and according to Your own heart, You have done all this greatness to let Your servant know.  22 “For this reason  You are great, O Lord GOD; for  there is none like You, and there is no God besides You,  according to all that we have heard with our ears.  23 “And  what one nation on the earth is like Your people Israel, whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people and to make a name for Himself, and  to do a great thing for You and awesome things for Your land, before  Your people whom  You have redeemed for Yourself from Egypt, from nations and their gods?  24 “For  You have established for Yourself Your people Israel as Your own people forever, and  You, O LORD, have become their God.  25 “Now therefore, O LORD God, the word that You have spoken concerning Your servant and his house, confirm it forever, and do as You have spoken,  26  that Your name may be magnified forever, by saying, ‘The LORD of hosts is God over Israel’; and may the house of Your servant David be established before You.  27 “For You, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have  made a revelation to Your servant, saying, ‘ I will build you a house’; therefore Your servant has found  courage to pray this prayer to You.  28 “Now, O Lord GOD, You are God, and  Your words are truth, and You have  promised this good thing to Your servant.  29 “Now therefore, may it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You. For You, O Lord GOD, have spoken; and  with Your blessing may the house of Your servant be blessed forever.”

Rev. 3:7   “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:

He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this:

Rev. 3:8   ‘ I know your  deeds. Behold, I have put before you  an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and  have not denied My name. 9 ‘Behold, I will cause those of  the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie — I will make them  come and bow down  at your feet, and make them know that  I have loved you. 10 ‘Because you have  kept the word of  My  perseverance,  I also will keep you from the hour of   testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to  test  those who dwell on the earth. 11 ‘ I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your  crown. 12 ‘ He who overcomes, I will make him a  pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the  name of My God, and  the name of the city of My God,  the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My  new name. 13 ‘ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

Rev. 19:11   And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called  Faithful and True, and in  righteousness He judges and wages war.  12 His  eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many  diadems; and He has a  name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.  13 He is clothed with a  robe dipped in blood, and His name is called  The Word of God.  14 And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen,  white and clean, were following Him on white horses.  15  From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that  with it He may strike down the nations, and He will  rule them with a rod of iron; and  He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.  16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has  a name written, “ KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

How does Jesus identify Himself in Revelation 22:16?
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star” (Rev. 22:16).

Father,
You are the One True God, the Covenant God of Israel and the God of all nations. For You are the Creator King and Your sovereignty rules over all. You are the God Who remembers, even when we forget and flounder in faithlessness and sinful rebellion. Your faithfulness endures, for Your love is greater than our hearts. You faithfulness is greater than our sin. You are righteous and true, and Your promises are everlasting and endure forever. All that You have purposed, You do. Your plans will stand. All of Your promises find their ‘Yes’ in Jesus, Your Son, the Word of God, Who came in the flesh, the Messiah, the descendant of David, the bright Morning Star, the Savior of the world, the Mediator of Your covenant, the Propitiation for our sin, the Redeemer in Whom is the forgiveness of sin, the Light Who gives new life, the High Priest Who lives to intercede for us, the good Shepherd of Your blessed flock Who willingly laid down His life for us, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Lord over all.

And to all who are justified by Your grace through faith in Jesus, You give new birth into Christ by the Holy Spirit, Whom You sent, just as You promised. The Holy Spirit circumcises our hearts, writing Your law within us and dwelling in us to give us divine power for godliness, which is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

But no flesh will be justified in Your sight by the works of the Law, for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe, for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by Your grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom You displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate Your righteousness because in Your forbearance You passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration of Your righteousness at the present time, so that You would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Glory and thanks to You through Jesus, Father, for You have qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. For You have rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of Your beloved Son, in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus is Your image, the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also the head of the body, the church, and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was Your good pleasure for all Your fullness to dwell in Him and through Him to reconcile all things to Yourself, having made peace through the blood of His cross, through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven. Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the LORD. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
