Father,
You have called Jesus a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek. You have sworn and will not change Your mind. Jesus is at Your right hand; He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath. He will judge among the nations, He will fill them with corpses. He will shatter the chief men over a broad country. He will drink the brook by the wayside; Therefore He will lift up His head.

Jesus is the good shepherd, and the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. He knows His sheep and His sheep know Him. You love Jesus, because He laid down His life on His own initiative.

We have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. Glory to You and to Jesus for so great a salvation. May You cause the sanctified to stand firm in the grace, love, and truth of Jesus to the end. May we walk worthily of the Lord, bearing fruit in every good work, that we may rejoice at His appearing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
