Father,
Messiah died for our sins
according to the Scriptures. He was buried, and He was raised on the third day
according to the Scriptures. And He appeared to Simon, then to the twelve. And
after that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time. Then He
appeared to James, then to all the apostles; and last of all, He appeared to
Paul also.
May You open eyes so they may believe in Jesus through the testimony of the apostles. For those who
confess with their mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart that You
raised Him from the dead will be saved. May the wisdom of the cross be preached
in power and received by faith. For the word of the cross is foolishness to
those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is Your power. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.
