What impresses you about the first trumpet (8:7)
God’s judgment is meted out with precision. Only
1/3 of the earth and trees will be destroyed, yet all the grass. He ordains the
destruction and limits its outreach.
What do you learn about God in Rev 8:7?
God uses natural means to execute divine
judgment.
How could this truth transform your life?
Trust that God is in control even when natural
disasters seem random.
Creator King,
You are the Creator of the natural world and the Judge of fallen
humanity. During natural crisis, may Your Name be praised, Your Word remembered,
Your glory revealed, and Your face sought. May hearts seek refuge and find calm
repose in Your Beloved Son.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
