Whom Judgment Belongs 

אֲשֶׁר־ל֥וֹ הַמִּשְׁפָּ֖ט (⁾asher lō hamishpāt)

“And you, 

O profane wicked one, 

prince of Israel, 

whose day has come, 

the time of your final punishment, 

thus says the Lord GOD: 

Remove the turban and take off the crown. 

Things shall not remain as they are. 

Exalt that which is low, 

and bring low that which is exalted. 

A ruin, ruin, ruin I will make it. 

This also shall not be, 

until he comes, 

the one to whom judgment belongs, 

and I will give it to him” 

(Ezek. 21:25-27).

‏וְאַתָּה֙ חָלָ֣ל רָשָׁ֔ע נְשִׂ֖יא יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֣א יוֹמ֔וֹ בְּעֵ֖ת עֲוֹ֥ן קֵֽץ׃ ס ‎‏ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הָסִיר֙ הַמִּצְנֶ֔פֶת וְהָרִ֖ים הָֽעֲטָרָ֑ה זֹ֣את לֹא־זֹ֔את הַשָּׁפָ֣לָה הַגְבֵּ֔הַ וְהַגָּבֹ֖הַ הַשְׁפִּֽיל׃ ‏ עַוָּ֥ה עַוָּ֖ה עַוָּ֣ה אֲשִׂימֶ֑נָּה גַּם־זֹאת֙ לֹ֣א הָיָ֔ה עַד־בֹּ֛א אֲשֶׁר־ל֥וֹ הַמִּשְׁפָּ֖ט וּנְתַתִּֽיו׃ פ

“The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples” (Gen. 49:10).

“The record of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham” (Matt. 1:1). 

“Nathanael answered Him, ‘Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel’” (John 1:49).

“These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful” (Rev. 17:14).

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, ‘KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS’” (Rev. 19:11-16).

(Matt. 1:1 (MHNT סֵפֶר הַיּוּחֲסִין שֶׁל יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ בֶּן־דָּוִד בֶּן־אַבְרָהָם:

John 1:49 הֵשִׁיב לוֹ נְתַנְאֵל: ”רַבִּי, אַתָּה בֶּן־הָאֱלֹהִים, אַתָּה מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל!“

Rev. 17:14 הֵם יִלָּחֲמוּ בַּשֶׂה וְהַשֶׂה יְנַצֵּחַ אוֹתָם מִפְּנֵי שֶׁהוּא אֲדוֹן הָאֲדוֹנִים וּמֶלֶךְ הַמְּלָכִים, וְאִתּוֹ גַּם הַקְּרוּאִים וְנִבְחָרִים וְנֶאֱמָנִים.“ 

Rev. 19:11‏ רָאִיתִי אֶת הַשָּׁמַיִם פְּתוּחִים וְהִנֵּה סוּס לָבָן וְהַיּוֹשֵׁב עָלָיו נִקְרָא נֶאֱמָן וַאֲמִתִּי; בְּצֶדֶק הוּא שׁוֹפֵט וְלוֹחֵם.  ‎12‏ עֵינָיו שַׁלְהֶבֶת אֵשׁ, עַל רֹאשׁוֹ עֲטָרוֹת רַבּוֹת, וְיֵשׁ לוֹ שֵׁם כָּתוּב אֲשֶׁר אֵין אִישׁ יוֹדֵעַ אוֹתוֹ מִלְּבַדּוֹ.  ‎13‏ הוּא לָבוּשׁ בֶּגֶד טָבוּל בְּדָם וּשְׁמוֹ נִקְרָא דְּבַר הָאֱלֹהִים.  ‎14‏ צִבְאוֹת הַשָּׁמַיִם יוֹצְאִים אַחֲרָיו, רְכוּבִים עַל סוּסִים לְבָנִים וּלְבוּשִׁים בּוּץ לָבָן וְטָהוֹר.  ‎15‏ מִפִּיו יוֹצֵאת חֶרֶב חַדָּה לְהַכּוֹת בָּהּ אֶת הַגּוֹיִם וְהוּא יִרְעֵם בְּשֵׁבֶט בַּרְזֶל. הוּא דּוֹרֵךְ אֶת גַּת הַיַּיִן שֶׁל חֲרוֹן אַף אֱלֹהֵי צְבָאוֹת,  ‎16‏ וְעַל בִּגְדוֹ וְעַל יְרֵכוֹ כָּתוּב שֵׁם: ”מֶלֶךְ הַמְּלָכִים וַאֲדוֹן הָאֲדוֹנִים.“
