Messianic Texts in the Prophets:
Jer. 30:9, 21 (7th century BC)
David their King
דָּוִ֣ד מַלְכָּ֔ם (dawīd malkām
Leader אַדִּירֹ֜ (⁾addīr
Ruler מֹֽשְׁלֹ (moshel)

“‘But they shall serve the LORD their God
and David their king,
whom I will raise up for them. . . .

Their leader shall be one of them,
and their ruler shall come forth
from their midst;
and I will bring him near
and he shall approach Me;
for who would dare to risk his life
to approach Me?’
declares the LORD”
(Jer. 30:9, 21).

“Your house and your kingdom shall endure before  Me forever; your throne shall be established forever” (Davidic Covenant, 2 Sam. 7:16).

“My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances and keep My statutes and observe them. They will live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons and their sons’ sons, forever; and David My servant will be their prince forever” (Ezek. 37:24-25).

Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king; and they will come trembling to the LORD and to His goodness in the last days” (Hos. 3:5).

“And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying: ‘Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people, and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of David His servant — as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from of old —’” (Luke 1:67-70).

“And so, because he was a prophet and knew that GOD HAD SWORN TO HIM WITH AN OATH TO SEAT one OF HIS DESCENDANTS ON HIS THRONE, he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that HE WAS NEITHER ABANDONED TO HADES, NOR DID His flesh SUFFER DECAY. This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear” (Acts 2:30-33).

“After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I HAVE FOUND DAVID the son of Jesse, A MAN AFTER MY HEART, who will do all My will.’ From the descendants of this man, according to promise, God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, after John had proclaimed before His coming a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel” (Acts 13:22-24).

As for the fact that He raised Him up from the dead, no longer to return to decay, He has spoken in this way: ‘I WILL GIVE YOU THE HOLY and SURE blessings OF DAVID’” (Acts 13:34).
