Estranged מוּזָר (mūzar)

Zealous קִנְאַ֣ת (qin⁾at)

Reproached חוֹרְפֶ֗י (chōrefe)

“I have become estranged from my brothers 

And an alien to my mother’s sons. 

  For zeal for Your house has consumed me, 

And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.” 

(Ps. 69:8-9)

מוּזָר הָיִ֣יתִי לְאֶחָ֑י וְ֝נָכְרִ֗י לִבְנֵ֥י אִמִּֽי׃  כִּֽי־קִנְאַ֣ת בֵּיתְךָ֣ אֲכָלָ֑תְנִי וְחֶרְפּ֥וֹת ח֝וֹרְפֶ֗יךָ נָפְל֥וּ עָלָֽי׃

“He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.” (John 1:1)

(John 1:1 (MHNT בְּרֵאשִׁית הָיָה הַדָּבָר, וְהַדָּבָר הָיָה עִם הָאֱלֹהִים, וֵאלֹהִים הָיָה הַדָּבָר. 

“And He made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; and to those who were selling the doves He said, ‘Take these things away; stop making My Father’s house a place of business.’ His disciples remembered that it was written, ‘ZEAL FOR YOUR HOUSE WILL CONSUME ME.’”

‏John 2:15 הוּא הֵכִין שׁוֹט מֵחֲבָלִים וְגֵרֵשׁ אֶת כֻּלָּם מִבֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ יַחַד עִם הַצֹּאן וְהַבָּקָר; כֵּן גַּם פִּזֵּר אֶת מַטְבְּעוֹת הַחַלְּפָנִים וְהָפַךְ אֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָנוֹת,  ‎16‏ וּלְמוֹכְרֵי הַיּוֹנִים אָמַר: ” קְחוּ אֶת אֵלֶּה מִכָּאן. אַל תַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת בֵּית אָבִי לְבֵית מִסְחָר.“  ‎17‏ אָז נִזְכְּרוּ תַּלְמִידָיו בַּכָּתוּב: ”קִנְאַת בֵּיתְךָ אֲכָלָתְנִי.“ 

“For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, ‘THE REPROACHES OF THOSE WHO REPROACHED YOU FELL ON ME.’ For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” 

(Rom. 15:3-4)

Rom. 15:3 שֶׁכֵּן גַּם הַמָּשִׁיחַ לֹא בִּקֵּשׁ הֲנָאָה לְעַצְמוֹ, אֶלָּא כַּכָּתוּב: ”וְחֶרְפּוֹת חוֹרְפֶיךָ נָפְלוּ עָלָי.“  4 וַהֲרֵי כָּל מַה שֶּׁנִּכְתַּב מִקֶּדֶם, נִכְתַּב לְהַדְרָכָתֵנוּ, כְּדֵי שֶׁתִּהְיֶה לָנוּ תִּקְוָה מִתּוֹךְ הַסַּבְלָנוּת וְהַנֶּחָמָה שֶׁבַּכְּתוּבִים.
